General Orthopedic Surgeon needed in Pittsburgh suburbs
Hospital owned Orthopedic Group in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, is seeking a BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon to join its team. If fellowship trained they prefer someone who is fellowship trained in Total Joints or Sports medicine.
New physician will do General Orthopedics and total joints.
Will be joining a group of 7. Group has 4 Orthopedic Surgeons, 1 Family Medicine Sports Medicine, 1 PMR, and 1 Spine Surgeon.
Group covers 5 offices and 3 hospitals. One location is just 10 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and the furthest locations are about 1 hour from downtown Pittsburgh.
Will do 3 days in clinic and 1 day in OR. In the span of 2 weeks each physician will rotate through 80% of the offices, so you do not stay in one place the whole time.
This need is due to growth and planned retirements in the future.
Call will be 1:5
Will receive a very competitive fixed salary in your first year and this will be followed up by a base salary plus productivity incentives in the following years.
